Dr. Chad Bingham is a board certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive (oculoplastic) surgeon. He is one of a select group of surgeons who has completed a prestigious fellowship accredited by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) and the American Council for Graduate Medical Education. He specializes in functional and cosmetic evaluation and treatment of the eyelids, eyebrows, orbit, tear ducts, and mid-face; including the use of Juvéderm® facial filler and BOTOX®. His research has been presented at numerous national and international meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals.
After graduating from Dartmouth Medical School in 2006, Dr. Bingham completed two years of residency in general surgery at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Later he completed a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas in San Antonio where he was selected by his peers and professors to serve as Chief Resident. He then completed a two year ASOPRS-approved fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at West Virginia University where he also instructed residents and medical students as a Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology at the WVU School of Medicine.
Dr. Bingham lives in Salem with his wife and four kids. They enjoy sports, hiking, camping and serving in the community.
